Boro 10-11 Foundation Seed Program

USHI SEEDS got 40 Kg BR 28 and 10 Kg BR 50 rice breeder seeds from BRRI, Gazipur to produce foundation seeds. the seeds are going to be sown in last week of November '10. Md. Abdur Rashid and Md. Moinul Islam of Baiguni, Patkelghata, Satkhira has been selected as contract farmers for the program. 1.35 acres of land of Mr. Rashid will be used for BR 50 foundation seed program and 5 acres of land of Mr. Moinul will be used for BR 28 foundation seed program.

2284 Kg BR 28 Foundation Seed is going to be marketed.

2284 Kg BR 28 Foundation Seed is going to be marketed in Boro 10-11 season. It is the first produced seeds in the market of USHI SEEDS.
